StartupHunt collects only what's necessary to run the platform:

• Email address — used for authentication and the daily newsletter
• Username — displayed publicly on the leaderboard
• Betting activity — markets you bet on, direction (YES/NO), amounts, outcomes
• Points balance — earned points stored in your account

The following data is visible to other users:

• Your username and tier on the leaderboard
• Your trade history (market, direction, amount, outcome) — visible on your profile
• Your win rate and total points won

Your email address is never shared publicly.

• Run prediction markets and calculate payouts
• Rank players on the leaderboard
• Send the StartupHunt daily newsletter (you can unsubscribe anytime from your account)
• Improve the product using anonymized analytics (PostHog)

We never sell your data to third parties.

All user data is stored in Convex (cloud database). Authentication is managed by Convex Auth. Email delivery uses Resend. Analytics are processed by PostHog (EU region).

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. We use PostHog for privacy-friendly product analytics (pageviews, feature usage). No advertising cookies or third-party trackers.

Payments for premium features are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card information — it is handled entirely by Stripe.

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing jeremy@newsletter.startuphunt.io.

We will process deletion requests within 14 days.
